Children in Need Rickshaw Challenge

As a challenge, Manning Construction decided to join in the Children in Need Rickshaw challenge, to cycle (within the reception area) to BBC Broadcasting House in London, a total of 126miles.

We drafted in all personnel who felt they could do 1 mile or 20 miles, and all did their part in achieving this total. When nearing the 126 miles, early on the Friday morning, it was decided to cycle back also!

A total of 423 miles were cycled and a FANTASTIC total of £820.05 was raised for Children in Need

Manning Construction Visits Local School

Manning Construction, along with 2 of our carpenters, Chris Evans and Ben Mason, assisted with a project at Ponthir Church in Wales School.
The school had an old container which was a bit of an eyesore, so Chris and Ben spent a long hot weekend, covering the unit, with the Materials supplied by Manning Construction,
then made a water game on the front for the children to use.
